Executive Chef

The Executive Chef is a working leadership position responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting quality food presented for the Abbey Monastery, Seminary, Guesthouse, Brewery, retreats, conferences, meetings, and special events.

Seminary Office and Special Projects Assistant

The Office and Special Projects Assistant supports the Seminary by managing and ensuring smooth daily operations for both the Annunciation and Anselm administrative offices and providing administrative assistance for various special projects as assigned. These projects may include but are not limited to various capital projects and grant funded initiatives. This position reports to the Executive Assistant to the President-Rector of the Seminary and supports the leadership roles of each special project as assigned.

Executive Assistant for Development

The Executive Assistant serves as the primary executive support to the Executive Director of Development. This role provides high-level strategic, administrative, and operational support including managing priorities, communications, scheduling, donor and leadership briefings, drafting correspondence, coordinating follow-through on key initiatives, and supporting selected events.

Custodian

The Custodian is responsible for custodial needs and care of the assigned areas as well as assisting with the set-up of facilities for events and meetings.

Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician position performs routine maintenance and repair work in buildings, on machines, on mechanical equipment and irrigation.

Benefits

Employees regularly scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week are eligible to enroll in the benefit plans at 91×ÔÅÄ. Some benefits such as the 401(k) plan, EAP and athletic facilities are available to all employees, regardless of hours worked. The following list outlines some of the benefits presently offered by 91×ÔÅÄ.

Medical and Dental Insurance

91×ÔÅÄ offers medical and dental coverage. The medical plan includes prescription and vision coverage and insurance is effective on the first day of the month after date of hire.

Life and Accidental Death/Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance

The Abbey pays the premium for a life insurance benefit of 1½ times your annual base salary, rounded up to the nearest $1,000.

Long Term Disability Insurance

100% employer paid Long Term Disability coverage. This coverage provides up to 60% of your pre-disability earnings for long-term disabilities.

401(k) Retirement Program

Employees are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan beginning on the date of hire, subject to eligibility rules. Employees may contribute from eligible earnings on a pre-tax basis up to the annual IRS maximum. In addition, the Abbey has the option to make an employer contribution into the plan. This match is discretionary and is subject to change at any time. The 2-year vesting schedule for employer contributions is outlined in the plan documentation.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The Employee Assistance Program provides confidential counseling for you and your family on issues including relationships, parenting, financial planning, life transitions, child and elder care, and emotional and psychological concerns. 91×ÔÅÄ provides this service for all employees. It is completely confidential and available 24 hours a day.

Section 125 Flexible Spending Accounts

Our Section 125 Flexible Spending Accounts allow employees to pay for eligible expenses using pre-tax dollars. Funds may be used for dependent care and certain out-of-pocket healthcare expenses.

Seminary Educational Benefit

Full-time Abbey employees may take one seminary class for credit or not for credit per semester without charge for tuition upon completion of one year of service. This benefit is prorated for part-time employees.

Paid Time Off (PTO)

91×ÔÅÄ is dedicated to supporting programs that create balance between our employees’ work and personal life. PTO provides employees with an opportunity for rest and relaxation and may be used for vacation, sick time, personal business and other similar events.
